Lakeview is located within the 19th Police District. The Chamber encourages business owners to attend their local CAPS meetings to get to know their local officers and discuss issues specific to individual blocks. The Lakeview Chamber co-hosts an annual Safety Seminar with the 19th District to discuss safety concerns for businesses in the area. SSA 27 offers a security rebate program to incentivize local businesses looking to add security cameras or other safety improvements.
