Transit
Just minutes north of downtown, Lakeview is easily accessible via three CTA train lines and four CTA bus routes. The Southport, Paulina and Addison stations on the CTA Brown Line provide convenient access to the neighborhood. CTA buses also run through our service area on Addison, Belmont, Diversey and Ashland. Parking
Street Parking
Parking regulations are strictly enforced throughout Lakeview. Most commercial streets in Lakeview have metered parking seven days per week, and most residential streets require a residential permit. Always read signs carefully when parking.
Residential parking permits and visitor passes may be obtained through the City Clerk’s office or local Aldermen’s offices.
Parking meters can be paid using credit cards or quarters at a pay-and-display pay box, or using the ParkChicago app.
