              In place of our annual Trick or Treat on Southport event, we are partnering with local businesses to offer a Halloween Kids Activity Kit, Costume Photo Session and Jack-O-Lantern Scavenger Hunt! Celebrate Halloween with us and local businesses at these fun, socially distanced programs in Lakeview!

            • Jack-O-Lantern Scavenger Hunt Jack-O-Lantern Scavenger Hunt

              Calling all ghouls and goblins! The Jack-O-Lantern Scavenger is the perfect opportunity for you and your kids to dress up and celebrate Halloween in Lakeview! From Monday, October 26 through Saturday, October 31, participating businesses will have different Jack-O-Lanterns pictures in their storefront windows for kids to find using our scavenger hunt map and the riddle below.

              Peer at this map, for it holds a clue: each area notes a pumpkin patch in Lakeview! 'Round this spot you must search, for nearby you may find an assortment of pumpkins, one of each kind: pink, green, orange, blue...yes, even a yellow one, too! Find all five colored carvings, and take a photo for proof. Then fly to Candyality, they've got a prize for each sleuth: show off the evidence that you've completed this task, and a free cup of secret recipe hot cider will appear without ask!* The clock will be ticking, so prepare your brooms: these pumpkins will only appear 'til the Halloween moon!

              *Available with proof of completed scavenger hunt (all five colored jack-o-lanterns found) plus minimum $10 purchase in-store at Candyality.

              Celebrate Halloween at home with this fun kids activity kit featuring candy, crafts and virtual classes from local businesses! Everything will be packaged in one convenient kit for just $25. 

              Pre-order ended on Thursday, 10/22.

              • Black cat art project from Kidcreate Art Studio (includes an instruction card for parents and kids will use a real canvas board, oil pastels and paint to create this project)

            • Costume Photo Session Costume Photo Session

              Saturday, October 31 from 10am - 1pm

              Dress up your kids or pup in a Halloween costume for a mini photo session with Angela Garbot Photography outside of Mothership Launchpad! Mothership Launchpad will create a fun, Halloween backdrop outdoors for the photo session. The mini photo sessions will include a 5-minute photoshoot with the photographer, a reusable water bottle filled with candy provided by Capital One Cafe and one free digital download all for $25. Additional photos are available for purchase from the photographer. *If there is bad weather, the photo session will take place indoors in a socially distanced environment.

            • Walk-Through Halloween Photo Event + Food Crafts with A Little Photo Studio Walk-Through Halloween Photo Event + Food Crafts with A Little Photo Studio

              October 30, 2020 from 3-5pm
               
              Costume Photo Shoot + Hi-Res Digital + Pumpkin + Cooking Activity + Cookie Treat-To-Go
              Tickets $55 per kid / $ 95 per family of 2-4 kids ($10 from each session will be donated to Friends of Lakeview)
               
               
              One family at a time will walk through the space for a costume photo, then move onto the pumpkin bar where each family will select a pumpkin to bring home and then on their way out grab a cookie per kid. While you wait, The Kids Table will be brewing up some pumpkin salsa for each family to safely make and eat to keep those little hands busy. Each family will receive one Hi-Res photo alongside a viewing gallery following the event. (Additional prints available for purchase).
